Wie is Henning Joubert?

 SAMA award winning Singer and songwriter Henning Joubert started making music at the age of seven and by the time he was 12 years old he had mastered nine different instruments and started playing in his first ‘’boere orkes’’.
After school he studied jazz at the Technicon of Pretoria and joined the revolutionary rock band Beeskraal. After Beeskraal he became a freelance musician, touring with the likes of William Blackrose, Steyn Fourie, Dozi, Robbie Wessels and Bok van Blerk.
Apart from music Henning is passionate about the outdoors and is actively involved in rhino conservation. He is a qualified field guide, trains the youth in outdoor survival and K9 units to track in tracking.
His first solo-album, ‘’Vuuraansteek Boeremusiek’’ showcased Hennings ability to compose and gave this traditional genre his own modern spin. His consequent albums ‘’Spookfontein’’ and ‘’Namib nagte’’ saw Henning emerge as a singer and storyteller and his his feelgood music is best enjoyed around a fire.
